What began in the 1960s as a small, local operation in Inglewood has evolved into one of the most respected and experienced facilities of its kind in the United States.

Founded by Francis “Frank” Hasenauer, Jet Pets quickly emerged as an innovator in animal transport. In 1972, the company completed the successful export of horses from Los Angeles to Thailand—a significant logistical achievement at the time. Just one year later, in 1973, Jet Pets made history by coordinating the first-ever import of horses from Australia to the West Coast, becoming the first privately owned Equine Import Quarantine facility in the country. These pioneering efforts set the tone for decades of growth, industry leadership, and trust from clients worldwide.
